Challah Bread Technique

One of my favorite parts about Judaism, is it’s a religion celebrated through various foods and recipes.  Each year during late Winter/early Spring we celebrate ‘Purim’, to commemorate the defeat of Haman’s plot to destroy all the Jews in ancient Persia.  Although not the most exciting holiday, Purim does have the most delicious pastry… hamantaschen!

Rugelach for Hanukkah

The weather may be cold, but I love this time of year.  Everyone is excited about the holidays, gift-giving, and spending time with family and friends.  Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, which means two things for my family and I; potato latkes and rugelach.  I’ll keep my family’s latke recipe to myself but the rugelach is all yours!
